You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or phone: 0412134339 http://www.sacredstone.com/ Since 1997 Sacred Stone have been presenting life-skill seminars in Australian High Schools. Through their seminars, Sacred Stone seeks to challenge how students view themselves, their world and what framework they're using to make life's decisions. Students are unique, their value comes from who they are, not what they do. So we encourage them in this, we help them to see it, realise it and live it.
The format of the presentation is interactive, fast-paced, and it's visual. The presentation goes for between 50 - 60 minutes (depending on lesson length), and utilizes different mediums of communication to engage the students in the message; like multi-media, live music from the band, and storytelling. We've gotten video footage of young people from all over the State answering key questions relating to their lives.
The seminars cover issues that confront students, like peer pressure, forgiveness, relationships and self-esteem. A rotating line-up means the band is always changing, evolving, and staying at the cutting edge of youth culture. The songs performed are current, and establish an immediate rapport and credibility with students.
Scripture Union (SU) programs are run by trained and screened volunteers from local churches, with training and support provided by staff. SU programs are characterised by an approach that enables students to directly engage with the Bible.

This engaging seminar describes Ken’s experience during the police investigation and his ongoing pursuit of justice after the acquittal of Shirree’s alleged killer. Gripping and heartfelt, this story is about coping with loss, fighting for justice and reform in the courts system, and the emotional trauma experienced by the family when a loved one dies tragically. Ken shares his concerns with the students about some serious social issues present in today’s society for example: internet meetings, binge drinking, drugs, awareness of crime, wrong choices, and relationships.
