Christian Education

The Education Act, allows for students in South Australian Government schools to have access to half a day per term of religious education. SMG and its supporting member organisations and local churches provide students with the opportunity to explore Christian beliefs and values and learn more about the world from different perspectives.

SMG works closely with the Department of Education and Children's Services (DECS) in regards to the Religious Education. DECS in collaboration with SMG has developed guidelines for Religious Education in schools.

Seminars are provided as a resource for Local Churches, Inter-church groups and Schools. The seminars are presented by gifted youth communicators  and youth workers.
